GENERAL INFORMATION When most of us at SRB Ventures surf the net, we like to land on web sites that are relatively simple and straightforward in terms of navigating them and finding the information that we are looking for. When we are on sites that have too many different ways to get to the same place, or have too many different tangents to possibly go off on, we find that it is easy to get lost and even sidetracked from finding the information that we were originally looking for...which means that we will probably have to go back later to look for the information that was not found the first time. When we build web pages and web sites, we prefer to use the "less is more" philosophy to avoid making the site overly complicated, so that visitors can get in, get the information they need or want, then move on without wasting a lot of time, because if they are anything like us, they don't have a lot of time to waste. PRICING It would be impossible to give a reasonable estimate for the final cost of building a web page or web site without first discussing what is expected of the site. There are many variables that will have an effect on the final cost, such as the size and complexity of the page or site, the number of custom-edited photos and graphics, design changes by the client, etc. Because these many variables also effect the amount of time spent on building a web page or web site, SRB Ventures only works on an hourly basis. Our rate of $35 per hour includes all of, but not limited to, the following: A custom-designed logo to be used throughout the web site. Photos scanned in, edited, and sized as required. Custom-edited graphics and photo collages, similar to the ones at the top of the "Custom House Plans" page, or on the "Freelance Photography" page of this site. Input and editing of all text information to be used.   MAINTENANCE After the site has been built, SRB Ventures can also maintain the site if you choose.
